Lisa Davies, RMT is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. Prior to returning to school in 2013, she worked for 10 years at Vancouver Island Health Authority as a Residential Care Aid.
While attending the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, Lisa had the opportunity to work with a variety of people and conditions, including: TMJ, tension headaches, low back pain, arthritis, acute and chronic injuries as well as prenatal massage. She believes the benefits of Massage Therapy can help improve not only your physical and emotional well being, it can have a positive impact on ones quality of life. Her main goals for each massage is to provide a safe, effective treatment, reduce pain and restore function where possible. Lisa uses a variety of different techniques such as, but not limited to; trigger point therapy, isolytic release, deep tissue, myofascial release and includes a relaxtion component using GSM into treatments.
Born and raised in the Cowichan Valley, she is excited to have the opportunity to practice in her hometown. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with Girl Guides of Canada, going to local markets and spending time with her daughter.
