Trudy O'Hearn Talbot

DrishtiYoga came to be in 2016.  Trudy finished Yoga Teacher Training program and thought "who's going to hire me, a not so flexible, not so skinny and definitely not so young woman."  trudy came to yoga to heal her beat up and what felt like then; ancient body.   She realized then that she needed to start her own business and she focused on my target demographics: people like herself. 

She chose the name DrishtiYoga because the loose translation of the Sanskrit word drishtiis inner focus.  It took not only a lot of drishti, but also the support of some very special people to help her make it through my yoga teacher training.

After a name search, business application and insurance, she set out by offering a few free workshops.  Her focus was on people who would say "I can't do yoga"

DrishtiYoga is growing, Her class size is limited to 10 people and she supplies all the props.

She brings passion for yoga to all her classes and she wants people to embrace their bodies.  Our bodies have carried us far in our lives, they have been bumped and bruised, broken and beat up, not only from day to day life, but through injuries, hard work, illnesses and accidents.  

Every scar, every wrinkle  is "the story of you".  We are still here...let's embrace our bodies

We are pleased to welcome Shule Marie to the clinic. Shule will be running a prenatal yoga class and seniors yoga. Please contact Shulé @ [email protected] or #250-510-4054 or the clinic to register. Minimum numbers will apply!


We are pleased to Welcome Violet Pasztor-Wilson to the clinic. Violet will be teaching yoga Tuesdays and Thursdays. She will also be teaching a seniors yoga class Wednesdays and a drop in yoga class Wednesday afternoon in the Wellness Studio. Violet will also be doing an intensive 6 week teacher's training course starting February 2018. Sign up soon!


We are pleased Roslyn Pringle and Krystoff Padilla to the clinic. They will be teaching Zumba and Social Dance in the Wellness Studio on Wednesdays and Sundays.


We are expanding! We are adding nearly 1800 square feet to our office. The expansion consist of a 700 square foot multi-purpose room/yoga studio overlooking Duncan city square and 3 new treatment room. We are looking to fill the spaces.

Dr. Barker is disapointed to announce he is no longer doing outreach clinics due to increased demand at the main clinic. Apologies to those who use his services at the Warmland House and Old Maple Bay firehall.
